Today is Martin Luther King Jr. day. Today to me is not only a special day but a memorable one in history. Because of this great man, people have changed their ways and views on skin color, before, people thought white and “pure” Americans were righteous, and that any other color was a sin. Now, everyone is accepted with open arms no matter what color you are. This man gave a speech of his dreams coming true, his dreams that everyone is equal, and should be treated equal no matter who they are, to be judged by their character, not the color of their skin.
I have always had the idea of everyone being equal, being family, and no one is better or worse. This man has not only opened Americas eyes, he made one of the biggest revolutions in history.
Because of this man, peoples dreams have and is coming true.
